The Beauty Factory

An artwork raising questions about massmedia images of man, gender, identity, sexuality, interpretation merits and voyeurism.

The Beauty Factory is a personal reaction to the media’s narrow images of women where the demand for physical perfection is so strict that no woman is good enough as she is.

The Beauty Factory has been shown at the Nordic Museum in Stockholm, the Museum of Work in Norrköping, Gallery Kakelhallen in Åland and also appear in the TV documentary ”The good man” by Barbro Björkfelt at YLE, shown in Finnish and Swedish television.
