Omkonst have for this project abandoned its motto ”artists writing about art”.
The most important thing has been choosing writers who stand out for their integrity, knowledge and ability to think critically. It adds up to about twenty different writers with different backgrounds, experience and age giving their point of views on the state of the art.

A diagnosis of the Swedish art of seventeen leading art historians who discuss what is happening in Swedish art and the direction in which it develops. With a broad outlook and deep knowledge of the authors provide personal essays and their point of views on the art world: the commercial market’s increasingly destructive power, the reviewer opportunism and the art that across all the trends are able to surprise and deep concern. Several authors conclude that the nervous pursuit of the new and the young has led to an impoverished art and art criticism maturity.
